- FCRP & Fall for Fairfax -
A BIG THANK YOU!
This year's fall outreach effort at Fall For Fairfax was BINGO for B’sss. The important message sent by this event was that by providing healthy habitats through clean water, native plants and control of pollutants in our yards and on public lands we can invite Monarchs, Honey Bees, Gold Finches and other native inhabitants into our gardens year after year.
A special thanks to:
-Oakton Wild Bird Center
-Friends of Accotink Creek (FACC)
-Chantilly High School SEA
-Fairfax Water
-Virginia Native Plant Society
-Northern Virginia Soil & Water Conservation District
-Our volunteers: Dave, Ted, Sue, Kris, Megan, Guilia & Nikitha
Thanks to Betsy Smith, John Burke and especially Suzy Foster of SWP-DPWES, for shepherding the BINGO for B’sss through days of revision into a fun and reusable activity for future events – hopefully less rainy.
